How research informs practice for psychological well-being and mental health in the community

The SUPIR Lab invites you to celebrate National Psychology Week by attending a conference at NSW Parliament House Theatrette on Tuesday 11 November 2014 from 9:00 – 4:30. The focus of the conference will be on how research informs practice for psychological well-being and mental health in the community.

The day features five thematic panels of researchers in psychology from nine universities presenting
the highlights of their research and how it benefits the community. The SUPIR Lab’s principal investigator, Fiona White, will also be presenting her research on improving intergroup relations.

NSW Premier, The Hon Mike Baird MP, has been invited to open the day’s proceedings to be chaired
by APS President, Professor Mike Kyrios. Portfolio Ministers have been invited to address each of the
themes prior to the Panels’ brief, informative and dynamic presentations, with Q & A to follow.

Join us for this exciting day with attendance and refreshments complimentary but the APS does need
registration details for catering purposes. Register online by clicking here.
